Skin Whitening

What is skin whitening? In the history of Japan, geishas are known for their painted white skin shich represents beauty, grace and high social status. In today's changing modern society, the perception of fairer skin is evolving, shere some say fair skin is white skin shile others would argue that fair skin is just that: fair skin.

But how does one get fairer skin then? Do you hide under the shade? Apply skin whitening products? Or do you make your own remedy? In the world today, skin whitening products are avaiable in various forms. Be it creams soaps, pills and lotions, all of them serve only one purpose, to help our skin become fairer. There are of course simple remedies and courses that can be taken to whiten our skin.

Somthing about subsidy i want to share it here, I just copy it from another blog

A man called Maha owns a farm which can produce 10 apples every day. He has 5 workers to operate the farm. Each of them eats 1 apple daily and it is enough to keep them operating the farm normally. The remaining 4 apples, the landlord sells them at RM10 each and he earns RM40.

He uses the RM25 to improve the farm operation and facilities. He gives RM2.00 to each of his workers and he keeps the remaining RM5.00 as profit. Day by day, the farm is well developed and all of the 5 workers are happy with the money they can save.

When Maha passed away and there is a new landlord, Abdul comes to continue the farm operation. He says to the workers:" We need to improve the farm quality and redefine our way of thinking. From now on all of you only need to pay RM1.00 for each apple you eat. It is very
cheap as the price is RM10 each outside the farm."

The workers have no choice but to pay RM1.00 for the apple they eat daily. Their earning decrease from RM2.00 to RM1.00 per person. As usual, Abdul sells the 4 apples and he gets RM40. He uses RM25 for farm improvement and pays RM10 to his 5 workers. He gets RM5.00 as profit. On top of that, he gets another RM5.00 from the apples that he sells to his workers. In total, he gets RM10 as profit every day.

Soon, the apple price increases to RM20 each. The new landlord gets a higher profit as he gets RM80 for the 4 apples he sells daily. Then, he decides to give the farming improvement contract to one of his close friend, Samy. Samy says:"Apple cost naik, improvement cost also misti naik." So, the farm improvement cost increases from RM25 to RM50. In actual, the improvement only cost RM30. The remaining RM20, Abdul and Samy share evenly among themselves.

Let's calculate how much Abdul gets daily:

RM10 (from farm improvement cost)
RM20 (Net profit by selling 4 apples: [Gross profit, RM80]
- [Improvement cost, RM50] - [Wages RM10] = RM20)
RM5 (from selling apples to his workers)

In total, Abdul gets RM35 daily compare to RM10 initially when he takes over the farm from Maha. His profit increases RM25 and the workers are still getting RM1.00 daily per person. The greedy Abdul does not want to stop there. One day, he says to his fellow workers:" You see ah, the current market price for one apple is RM20 and you are only paying RM1. See how lucky you are! I have to SUBSIDY RM19.00 for each of the apple you buy and total I need to SUBSIDY RM95.00. This will greatly burden the farm and we might get bankrupt if we continue like this. In order to avoid bankruptcy, I need to increase the apple price that you buy from RM1.00 to RM1.50 and I will bear the remaining RM18.50 per apple as my subsidy to you all. " So, greedy Abdul adds RM2.50 to his current profit and the number becomes RM37.50. After you have read the story, I am sure you have already understood the meaning of "SUBSIDY" given by the government.

The RM95 subsidy never existed in the first place and so was the RM52 billion fuel subsidy generously "given" by the government Cutting fuel subsidy is actually just a reason to steal money from your pocket. Are you gonna stand there and let them rob you?

Sunny Side Up Please?

Just a few minutes of exposure to the Sun each day for a year leaves noticeable changes to the skin. Most if not all skin problems that plague our skin can be traced to sun exposure.

The term that is used to describe this type of aging is called "photoaging" - an aging caused by exposure to Sun's rays. The amount of photoaging that will develop is based on your skin colour and history of sun exposure. People with fair skin and have been exposed to the sun constantly before develop more signs of photoaging compared to those with dark skin.

What repeated exposure to the sun over a period of years, photoaging occurs and causes our skin to lose the ability to repair itself, resulting in the accumulation of the damage wrought by the sun. The repeated UV exposure impairs the synthesis of new collagen and causes existing collagen to break down. when this happens, our skin will lose its elasticity, start to wrinkle and form fine lines.

To make matters worse, the damage is irreversible as once a small amount of damage has occured, repeated exposure to the sun will only increase the effect!!!

SOLUTION??!!

One of the main solution is prevention!!! Apply sunscreen on our skin for protection against UV and sun rays.

Skin-Aging: Causes & Effects

Like the great sages once said, if there is a cause, there is always an effect. This holds true for everything, raging from skin care all the way to skin-aging. What you do sow will affect what you reap. There are various things that we do every day, not knowing the danger, be it slight or big.

A. FACIAL EXERCISING IS A NO-NO!!!

If you perform facial exercises for whatever reason, it is high time to stop. Repetitive facial movements will lead to fine lines and wrinkles, as each time we use a facial muscle, a groove forms beneath the surface of the skin. This is why a line forms with each facial expression we make. As our skin ages and loses its elasticity, the skin stops springing back to its original state and eventually these grooves become permanent on the face, creating wrinkles and fine lines!

B. ROCK-A-BYE-BABY

As you rest your face on the pillow in the same position every night for years and years, wrinkles will start to form. Identified as sleep lines, these wrinkles are eventually etched on the surface of the skin and no longer dissapear when you are not sleeping. People who sleep on their side are likely to see lines appearing on their chin and cheeks. For those that sleep with the face pressed down on the pillow, lines will appear on the forehead.

C. THE THINGS THAT HOLD US DOWN

Gravity, as it constantly holds us down, also pulls at our body and skin. As we age, the changes related to gravity become more pronounced and this is more apparent when we are around our 50s as our skin elasticity declines. Gravity will cause the tip of our nose to drop, ears to elongate and the upper lip to disappear while the lower lip becomes more prominent.

D. THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL

Cigaratte smoking causes biochemical changes in our body which accelerate aging. A person who smokes 10 or more cigarrates a day for at least 10 years is more likely to develop wrinkled skin than a non-smoker!

E. STRESSING WILL STRESS YOUR SKIN!!!

When you were a kid your parents always said,"Don't frown. or your face will stay that way". As stress causes frowning, over time, muscles in the face will conform to that movement. So try to relax, do not frown and take some meditation, yoga or other relaxtion techniques to keep your stress at bay...
